GREETINGS! The information you’re about to look at is from 2021’s virtual workshop, known as “WOW”. No details are available at this time, except for the date, January 14-16th, 2022, and we are hoping to meet in person!! If you’re not on our mailing list and would like to be kept up-to-date, write to Marcia Thumma at firstname.lastname@example.org. Check back here from time to time for updates!
Usually, by this time of year, all registrations have been received and we have a wait list that grows daily. Not so, this year, of course, but we’re more excited than ever to bring the workshop to you, in the comfort and safety of your own home!
Fraser, our long time friend, and consummate Scottish fiddler and artist, has a deep understanding of traditional styles of music, with a strong focus Scotland’s music. He will co-lead and teach the gathering along with Natalie Haas on cello. Their skill and experience will have fiddlers, cellists, and guitarists, and other musician types will learning a handful of new tunes in no time. There will not be a concert in Coupeville to prepare for, but we will still focus on arranging the tunes into a set after we’ve learned them.
Natalie Haas on cello, will provide fresh, exciting ideas to compliment these great tunes. Guaranteed to get everyone on their feet and dance with rhythmic groove and great harmonic support. Perfect for those into accompaniment and the groove!
